Huge energy outage affecting over 4,000 properties and companies in Brampton

Many Brampton residents are with out energy this morning (March 21).
As of 10:19 a.m., Alectra Utilities says a widespread outage is affecting 4,337 properties and companies within the space of Countryside Drive to Clarence Avenue and Major Avenue to Dixie Highway.
The reason for the outage is at present being investigated.
Crews have been dispatched and energy is estimated to return in roughly three hours.
